  • Continuous Stitched Mat

    Continuous Stitched Mat

    Fiberglass continuous stitch mat is designed specifically for pultrusion, can be used to replace continuous filament mat.

    Continuous fibers/rovings are stitched together by PET thread, binder-free mat.

    Mat formed up with continuous roving on both 0-Degree and 90-Degree, offers much higher strength than common chopped mat, which will finally improves strength of fiberglass profiles.

  • Stitched Mat (EMK)

    Stitched Mat (EMK)

    Fiberglass stitched mat(EMK), made of evenly distributed chopped fibers (around 50mm length), then stitched into mat by polyester yarn.

    One layer of veil (fiberglass or polyester) can be stitched onto this mat, for pultrusion.

  • Polyester Veil (Apertured) for Pultrusion

    Polyester Veil (Apertured) for Pultrusion

    Polyester veil ( poliester velo, also known as Nexus veil) is made from high strength, wearing and tear resistant polyester fiber, without using any adhesive material.

    Suitable for: pultrusion profiles, pipe and tank liner making, FRP parts surface layer.

    Polyester synthetic veil, with uniformity smooth surface and good breathability, guarantee good resin affinity, rapid wet-out to form a resin-rich surface layer, eliminating bubbles and cover fibers.

    Excellent corrosion resistance and anti-UV.

  • Fiberglass Veil / Tissue in 25g to 50g/m2

    Fiberglass Veil / Tissue in 25g to 50g/m2

    Fiberglass veil includes: C glass, ECR glass and E glass, density between 25g/m2 and 50g/m2, mainly used on open molding(hand lay up) and filament winding process.

    Veil for hand lay up: FRP parts surface as final layer, to get smooth surface and anti-corrosion.

    Veil for filament winding: tank and pipe liner making, anti corrosion interior liner for pipe.

    C and ECR glass veil has better anti-corrosion performance especially under acid circumstance.

    Continuous Filament Mat for Pultrusion and Infusion

    Continuous Filament Mat (CFM), consists of continuous fibers randomly orientated, these glass fibers is bonded together with a binder.

    CFM is different from chopped strand mat because of its continuous long fibers rather than short chopped fibers.

    Continuous filament mat is commonly used in 2 processes: pultrusion and close molding. vacuum infusion, resin transfer molding(RTM), and compression molding.

    Big Wide Chopped Strand Mat for FRP Panel

    Emulsion Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat Fast Wet-Out

    Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is produced by chopping assembled roving into 50mm lengths fibers and dispersing these fibers randomly and evenly onto a moving belt ,to form a mat,then an emulsion binder is used to hold fibers together, then the mat is rolled on production line continuously.

    Fiberglass emulsion mat(Colchoneta de Fibra de Vidrio) conforms easily to complex shapes (curves and corners) when wet-out with polyester and vinyl ester resin. Emulsion mat fibers bonded closer than powder mat,less air bubbles than powder mat during laminating, but emulsion mat can Not compatible well with epoxy resin.

    Common weight: 275g/m2(0.75oz), 300g/m2(1oz), 450g/m2(1.5oz), 600g/m2(2oz) and 900g/m2(3oz).

    Unit weight: 20g/m2-60g/m2.

    Powder Chopped Strand Mat

    Powder Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is produced by chopping roving into 5cm lengths fibers and dispersing fibers randomly and evenly onto a moving belt ,to form a mat,then a powder binder is used to hold fibers together, then a mat is rolled into a roll continuously.

    Fiberglass powder mat(Colchoneta de Fibra de Vidrio) conforms easily to complex shapes (curves and corners) when wet-out with polyester,epoxy and vinyl ester resin, is a widely used traditional fiberglass, builds up thickness quickly with low cost.

    Common weight: 225g/m2, 275g/m2(0.75oz), 300g/m2(1oz), 450g/m2(1.5oz), 600g/m2(2oz) and 900g/m2(3oz).

    Note: powder chopped strand mat can compatible with epoxy resin completely.
